Merja Vasikkaniemi of YLE came to the Stundars Museum along with representatives from the Swedish and Finnish speaking newspapers in Vaasa. Gunilla invited the media to Stundars to promote the July 1st Children’s Day at the museum. She asked be to show my suit to the media.
I blew the suit up instantly grabbing the attention of the reporters. They did not expect to see a large inflatable suit over four meters tall running at them. I danced around a bit in the suit and then answered their questions. Big Red might seem old to me but it is brand new in Finland. One of the photographers told me that Big Red was the coolest thing he had seen in a while. I told him to wait for the next piece.
Merja produced a piece for Pohjanmaan uutiset (East News) that aired at 7:00. A short blurb and photo slide show titled “Iso punainen” viihdyttää Stundarsissa (Big Red Entertains Stundars) can be seen on YLE’s site.

This is great, the press loves you over there! Also, Big Red seems to be doing much better without an excessively windy climate.
What do you to these lost children? Take them home?
It works great without the wind. Big red is brand new here in Finland. I will have my new suit done soon.
